Every year we here at BuildThatBeat scour the web to find some of the best Holiday production software deals for aspiring producers. It’s that time to continue our traditional holiday buyers guide once again for the 2016 season. Temperatures are now below freezing and if you live in some of the northern parts of the world, you’re planning to hibernate for the rest of the winter. Grab yourself a blanket and some hot coco, and get ready for the best season for music production.
As we say every year, if you’ve been using software from “a friend,” this would be a great opportunity to purchase for yourself at great discounts. As with most holiday deals, these prices don’t usually last long so do your research and move quickly. We’re going to work through December to add/update the list as deals change, so make sure to check back throughout the holiday. Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Deals –
Fruity Loops – We’re still waiting to hear back on any holiday deals from Image Line (Fruity Loops software team). Last year they had a great deal of up to 30% off on their software, plugins, and even their mobile products (Fruity Loops for IOS and Android). We’ll update you all once their sales go online. We’re expecting the same timeframe for discount as well (through the middle of January!). Stay Tuned.

Ableton Live – Ableton comes through for us just about every single year with pretty good discounts. If you’re an Ableton Live first-timer, you’re able to grab the intro level software for only $79 bucks. Otherwise it looks like various packs and the Push hardware are at a discount as well.

Virtual Studio Technologies (VSTs)
Native Instruments (NI)– Native Instruments is having a Thanksgiving/black Friday sale once again for 2016. Native Instruments (NI) is probably best known for their ‘Massive” synthesizer which has historically been one of the most used VSTs in EDM production. Unfortunately they do not have a discount on their mothership, the Komplete 11 bundle, which packages a number of the best samplers/vsts into one package. Will they put this on sale closer to Christmas? I guess we’ll wait and see.
